1. Pyramids of Giza : 

Pyramids of Giza a trio of three Pyramids of Pharaoh Khufu, khafre, and Menkaure in Greek(Chepos, Chrepren and Mykerinus).These all three Pyramids were built around 2560 BC form the large stone craved out of limestone and granite. The three Pyramids are guarded by the structure called Sphinx (a half man and a  head of lion ).It was selected as UNESCO World Heritage Site.

2. Red Pyramid :

It is one of the first Pyramid built by the Egyptian.  It is located in Dahshur, Cairo. This reddish Pyramids get colour form  rusty red limestone . Its height is 105 metres . This pyramid was built by Pharaoh Sneferu around 2590 BCE. 

3.  Pyramid of Sun :

It is the third largest pyramid around the world. It is Mesoamerican structure located in Teotihuacan ,Mexico . This pyramid gets it name form Aztec people who visited the city Teotihuacan. This structure was lost behind the shadow of mountain  Cerro Gerdo and the pyramids of Moon. It was discovered around 200 CE. 

4.  Pyramid of  Cholula :

It is the largest Pyramid according to width situated in  Puebla,Mexico. This pyramid is believed to built by the Xelhua( Giant in Aztec mythology) according to Aztec people . It is said to be bout for the purpose of worship. It is a stepped Pyramid with a Temple on Top. It is also added in UNESCO World Heritage Site.

5. Pyramid of Djoser :

Pyramid of Djoser also called Zoser, is situated in Saqqar, Necropolis Egypt . It is the 6 tier and oldest stone monument in Egypt. It was built for the Pharaoh Djoser. It is a stepped Pyramid . Some Egyptologist also said that it is experimental structure. 

6. El Castillo :

El Castillo is a pyramid situated in 

Yuctán, Mexico. It is also called the temple of Kukulcan. This pyramid is located in the archeological site of Chichen Itza. It is a stepped mesoamerican pyramid.It is also UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

7. Pyramid of Magician :

It is also steeped Pyramid located in Uxmal, Mexico. It is also called Cassilo el Adivino or pyramid of Dwarf. This pyramid is said to be built by Mayan People. There is a legend associated with the construction of this pyramid that it was constructed in one night by a dwarf hatched out of egg named Izzat. 

8. Ziggurat of Ur :

It is also a pyramid built in Mesopotamia now Iraq. Its base is a pyramid with a white Temple at top. The temple was built on top so that it is close to heaven. The Ziggarut of Ur was made by Sumerians.  Sumerians believed that God live near heaven that is why they made temple on the top of pyramids. 

9. Mausoluem of Qin : 

It is the pyramids of the first Qin Emperor Qin Shi Huang. It is located in the district of Lintong ,China . It is also declared UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tomb is not still excavated but Terracota warrior were excavated  and is believed that they were buried to server the Emperor Qin .

10. Pyramid of Nubia :

These pyramid were built by  people of Sudan .These were built like Egyptian pyramids.
